済州島 Jeju Island

Focusing on the GENKOU, the Mongolian invasion of Japan in the 13th century, published in the first four color pages of the UMALIFE magazine. The Mongol and Goryeo armies played a role in the massacre of Japanese people at that time.  Nevertheless, Japanese Samurai fought bravely and drove the enemy away. Yoshiko Sato believes that this history should be known more widely and preserved for future generations.
