長崎の原爆　Atomic Bomb memorial day in Nagasaki

取材で訪れた、「長崎原爆資料館」。被爆の惨状を露わにした数々の写真や、爆撃後に投下された警告のビラ。溶けて固まったガラスのビンや長崎型原爆の模型。「原子雲の下に生きて―長崎の子供らの手記」という本に記された、被爆児童の言葉がふと心に甦り、反芻せずにいられなかった。

The museum features exhibits that tell a story, including the horrific aftermath of the atomic bombing, the events leading up to the bombing, the history of nuclear weapons development, and the pursuit of peace.
