Arabian horse art exhibition celebrates Oman-Japan ties

TOKYO — A photography exhibition of Arabian horses kicked off yesterday at the Sultanate’s Embassy in Japan with photos taken by the internationally-renowned Japanese photographer Yoshiko Sato.
Dubbed Adiyat the exhibition lasts until October 11 and is held as part of the Omani Embassy’s celebrations of 40 years of diplomatic relations between Oman and Japan and in a bid to enhance knowledge about the rearing of pure Arabian horses as part of the Omani culture.
Khalid bin Hashil al Masalhi, the Sultanate’s Ambassador to Japan, expressed his delight about the occasion and extended his thanks to photographer Yoshiko for highlighting one of the most important aspects of the Omani culture.
The event was attended by a number of heads of diplomatic missions and members of the Oman-Japan Friendship Association. — ONA

アラビアン・ホースアート展、オマーンと日本の関係を祝賀する
日本のオマーン・スルタン国大使館において、国際的に著名な写真家佐藤美子Yoshiko Satoのアラビアン・ホース展が昨日始まりました。Adyat と名付けられた写真展は10月11日まで開催され、外交関係樹立40周年を祝賀し、オマーン文化の要素である純血アラビアン・ホースについての知識を高めるためでもあります。Khalid bin Hashil al Masalhi大使は、オマーン文化における最も重要な面のひとつを強調したことに対して、大きな喜びと謝意を佐藤美子写真家Yoshiko Sato Photographerに表しました。イベントには数多くの大使やオマーン・日本友好協会のメンバーが出席しました。
