オマーン人作家ザフラーン・アルカースィミー（Zahran Alqasmi）の、本邦初の翻訳本「水脈を聴く男」を読了。オマーンの灌漑システム、地下水路（ファラジュ）をテーマに、神秘的、眩惑的に展開する異世界に引き込まれました！。2023年度の「アラブ小説国際賞」を受賞した作品です。

These photographs of Aflaj were shot in Oman.  Unesco inscribed Aflaj Irrigation Systems of Oman on the World Heritage List in 2006.

Photographer Yoshiko Sato read the book written by Omani author Mr. Zahran Alqasmi, which was translated into Japanese for the first time as an overseas translation. The story’s narrative was extraordinarily mesmerizing！ The book received the International Prize for Arabic Fiction in 2023.
