アート頁に写真掲載 Photo & Art Focusing on Argentine Republic
アルゼンチンで撮影したガウチョの写真を、UMA LIFE馬ライフ 誌11号巻頭 “Photo & Art” カラー4頁にわたって掲載しました（メトロポリタンプレス刊）。アルゼンチン、遠い国です。2度撮影に出かけており、１度目は訪問目的地に辿り着いたのは、成田出発後56時間後！ロスアンゼルスからサンパウロ経由、ブエノスアイレスから南米大陸南端地域のリオガジェゴス空港へ。そこからバスでカラファテに到着。
当地では世界遺産のぺリトモレノ氷河を始め、様々な撮影をしました。今回は歴史を反映した、馬事文化の写真を掲載。お近くの書店で注文できますので、ご覧頂ければ嬉しいです。
UMA LIFE magazine published its 11th issue in 2025. The “Photo and Art” pages featured Argentine photographs by Yoshiko Sato.
The Argentine Republic is far away from Japan; the flight from Narita flew to Sao Paulo via Los Angeles and Buenos Aires, then to Rio Gallegos. From there, a bus trip was taken to Calafate, the southern part of the South American Continent.
It took 56 hours from Narita Airport to the hotel check-in in Calafate. Yoshiko Sato was not tired but so glad to reach there. However, photographs were taken in many places, including Perito Moreno Glacier, gaucho and criollo horses were featured in the magazine. Why do horses make people feel relaxed?
